Toshiba Long Lead Filters are designed for applications with long leads between the electric motor and a Variable Frequency Drive. Wired directly to the drive and installed adjacent to the output terminals, these filters are designed for motor lead lengths up to 1000 ft and 2-4 kHz maximum carrier frequency. They are available in Open, Type 1, and Type 3R enclosures.
Note: Long Lead Filters are current-rated devices. Therefore, the current rating of the filter should be greater than or equal to the maximum steady-state input current the motor will draw.
